QA Software Tester

When you join Maltego, you will become part of our Product and Technology team in Munich. You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software applications. Your mission in our technology team is to bring Maltego to the next level by building a world-class tool and infrastructure. What to expect In this role, you will:

• Review functional requirements, technical designs, and documentation to create robust manual and automated test suites.
• Execute manual tests for desktop and web applications, automating tests where possible.
• Assist in maintaining automated test suites.
• Guide developers in the creation of practical unit tests.
• Develop a deep understanding of product requirements and system components.
• Follow quality assurance processes and participate in team sessions.
• Investigate complex issues.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• ISTQB Certification (CTFL) preferred.
• 5 years of manual testing experience.
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, Linux Terminal, and virtualization software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• API testing experience.
• Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and Python.
• Good team player and strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively within a team
• A strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative are highly valued.
