Job description
As Senior Specialist Cybersecurity & IT Solutions Delivery you will bring expertise in cybersecurity and also drive IT solution delivery. You will blend technical and administrative security responsibilities with IT project coordination and vendor management. You will safeguard Kia Connect's connected vehicle and data platforms while ensuring IT initiatives and projects are delivered securely, on time, and to a high standard., * Implement and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for connected vehicle and data systems, ensuring alignment with UN R155, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 27001, and internal policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability management across systems, APIs, networks, and applications.
- Develop and operate a cybersecurity incident response plan, monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating threats in real time.
- Manage and support IT projects (e.g., API integrations, system upgrades, application rollouts), coordinating tasks, stakeholders, and timelines.
- Work with external vendors and internal support teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-quality delivery of IT and security solutions.
- Provide security guidance throughout the lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early.
- Collaborate across engineering, IT operations, and data/analytics teams to ensure secure design and implementation of solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and IT best practices, driving continuous improvement in both cybersecurity and IT delivery processes.
- Promote a security-first culture, building awareness and accountability across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field., * 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, combined with exposure to IT project management or solution delivery.
- Familiarity with backend systems and APIs, with the ability to coordinate with technical teams.
- Experience managing or collaborating with external vendors in IT or security projects., * Knowledge of relevant standards: UN R155, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, applications, and network security.
- Experience with project management practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, and vendor coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a balance of technical insight and delivery focus.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (working language).
