Senior Frontend Developer, hibrido

Overview We're an AI-first scale up helping universities and colleges support students and faculty with smart, knowledge-driven tools-from AI tutoring to feedback and support. We need a senior frontend engineer who can take product ideas from Figma to fast, accessible production apps on Vercel and lead the craft on performance and accessibility. Responsibilities * Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible UI; own performance by optimizing data loading/streaming, reducing bundle size, and profiling the JS event loop and async flows. * Ship high-quality frontend apps in Next.js, React, and TypeScript (App Router & Page Router, SSR/SSG/ISR, middleware, edge patterns). * Deploy, preview, and monitor apps on Vercel (analytics, error tracking, observability). * You'll own projects end-to-end in a small team with big ownership. * Balance quality and speed; the team engineers for both rather than choosing one over the other. Qualifications * 8+ years building production

frontends. * Deep Next.js knowledge (App vs Page routes) and strong React. * Modern TypeScript / JavaScript fundamentals. * Professional fluency in English (written & spoken). * Experience building streaming UIs, chat experiences, or AI-powered apps (real-time, RAG, agents). * Tooling for performance & observability (Web Vitals, Lighthouse, bundle analysis). * Prefer Barcelona, Spain or Amsterdam, Netherlands if you want hybrid / office.
