Own, prioritize, and manage the backlog for technical components (e.g. APIs, SDKs, system integrations)

Ensure stories and tasks reflect both functional and non-functional requirements

Align with architects, engineering manager and security lead on non-functional requirements

Balance technical debt resolution with delivery of business value Technical Collaboration

Collaborate with architects and engineers to provide product side inputs on changes on architecture and data flows

Translate business needs into technical acceptance criteria

Assess technical trade-offs, dependencies and implications for roadmap and delivery timelines Sprint Execution

Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure clarity and readiness for delivery

Ensure cross-team dependencies and priorities are addressed through effective coordination (e.g., scrum of scrums)

Monitor sprint progress and proactively manage risks and impediments impacting delivery Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with the Product Managers to align on product roadmap, integration strategy, and system-level priorities

Coordinate with other Product Owners for interdependent features

Communicate progress, trade-offs, and impacts clearly to stakeholders and leadership Strategic Alignment & Customer Engagement

Contribute to the overall product vision and roadmap by providing technical and delivery insights

Represent the product in customer engagements to gather direct feedback and support Product Managers

Requirements
- Subject matter expertise: Strong understanding of complex financial platforms such as payment systems and core banking
- Product experienceProven track record in building and launching integration-focused features and products (back-end or developer-facing) in collaboration with (external) partners.Demonstrated ability to understand technical architecture and dependencies / limitations.Ability of being able to understand the security impact of vulnerabilities and design decisions
- Product owner skills Strong ability to manage trade-offs between features, technical debt, performance, and delivery timelines.Adept at simplifying complex system interactions into actionable backlog items with well-defined priorities and acceptance criteria.Skilled at facilitating cross-functional discussions to translate business needs and regulatory requirements into technically feasible solutions.Experience with Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products.
- General skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex product challenges.Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Project experienceExperience and desire to work in a high-pressure project delivery environment.Experience in managing expectations and requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, development teams and senior management.Experience in delivering secure products in a highly regulated environment.
- SAFe Knowledge: Experience working in a SAFe environment, with an understanding of ARTs, PIs, and delivering value through iterative development.
- Technical knowledge preferred: Some understanding of relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Go), databases, cloud platforms and API design is a plus.
