This role is crucial for scaling and maintaining the infrastructure behind our cybersecurity platform. You'll be part of a supportive team led by seasoned engineers, where learning and collaboration are central. While deep expertise in every tool isn't required, the right candidate is curious, driven, and eager to develop professionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and other cutting-edge technologies. You'll contribute directly to the delivery of critical features in a fast-paced environment where quality and speed go hand-in-hand.
What You'll Do
- Support the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS).
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (with a strong emphasis on GitLab).
- Automate infrastructure tasks with tools like Terraform and Ansible (prior experience is a plus, willingness to learn is key).
- Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to align infrastructure and application goals.
- Contribute to incident response and troubleshooting alongside the team for critical issues (mentorship and guidance provided).
- Uphold infrastructure as code best practices and proactively seek opportunities for optimization.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role (Mid-level or strong Junior with fast-learning mindset).
- Solid foundations in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.) and a genuine interest in deepening cloud expertise.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines (or experience with similar CI/CD tools and eagerness to master GitLab).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (even if not expert level).
- Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Some familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible (or willingness to dive in).
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or ElasticSearch.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Haves
- GitLab advanced experience (runners, pipelines, Kubernetes integrations, etc.).
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks or exposure to security best practices.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Interest or experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related areas (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Experience with hybrid architectures (cloud + traditional datacenter)
