Job description

Our teams work in highly agile working environments for Fortune clients, following XP practices and best CI/CD practices. We are looking for a Java developer with open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts.

Remote working from anywhere in Spain is welcome!

What Youll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy software applications
  • Design, code, debug, and enhance Java-based components of the platform
  • Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Adhere to software development best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure the platform's performance, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate with the customer and teams in other locations on a daily basis
  • Work closely with senior engineers, PMs, BAs and business users (clients) in order to find best possible technical solution for the project

Requirements

Do you have a sofware engineering background and strong knowledge in Java? Are you an open-minded professional with good English skills? If it sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity to join EPAM as a Senior Java Developer., * 5+ years of experience as Java developer

  • Excellent knowledge of Core Java

  • Understanding of caching concepts

  • Handling XML & JSON inputs, outputs

  • Knowledge of Java Frameworks for Databases (Hibernate, JDBC, etc)

  • Good understanding of frameworks such as Spring or Spark Java

  • Microservices architectures, containers (Docker)

  • Agile working environment experience Nice to Have

  • Experience in working with low-latency applications

  • Hazelcast or Cloud based caching solutions

  • Active MQ

  • SOAP services, Tomcat
