Job description
As part of the Global ERP Systems team, you will be working closely with partners across our accounting & finance teams to structure data, automate and improve processes, and produce meaningful analytics in our core financial applications. Our team organizes our project work on a Scrum framework to focus on continuous delivery., The ERP Engineer supports our end to end financial systems stack. This person will be responsible for delivering enhancement projects to our existing toolset and providing ongoing support for finance/accounting functions. Our current tools include but are not limited to Workday, Zuora, Make.com, Google Gemini and our own Celonis applications.
The work you'll do:
- Provide functional and technical expertise to drive solution design
- Driving resolution of finance systems ticket backlog
- Designing and developing finance systems enhancements
- Leading the rollout and adoption of new functionalities like bi-annual releases
- Custom report development
- Functional oversight of integration design
- Communicating the progress of projects to stakeholders
- Supporting new software evaluations or updates to existing tools to ensure they meet business requirements
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (like Finance, Accounting, Computer Science) OR 0-2 years of relevant experience (perhaps from an internship or a finance/IT operations role).
- Understanding of accounting and finance processes such as procurement, AP, month end close, fixed assets, Invoicing/AR, revenue, T&E, and financial reporting.
- A strong, demonstrated interest in technology and business processes. You're curious about how systems help a company run.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You know how to break down a problem and are comfortable asking questions.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- A great communicator and team player. You're able to clearly explain issues and are eager to work with others to find solutions.
- Eagerness to learn new systems and processes; you're not afraid to dive in and learn on the job.
