Job description
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 3 days in the office in Sydney , 2 days a week from home., Leadership: The manager for this role is John Jones; John is the Practice Director - Business Applications (D365 and Power Platform)
As a Solutions Specialist, you are a sales focused technology specialist, who partner with our Sales team and Practice Leads to help identify and win new business opportunities.
Along the way, you will get to:
- Leading presales and bids for our D365 & PP practice
- Standardising proposals, bids, and tenders.
- Ensuring coverage for all practice offerings
- Partnering with our Sales team to perform "targeted" prospecting & build pipeline
- Identify and properly qualify opportunities
- Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts
- Develop compelling commercial offers and value propositions
- Provide thought leadership and domain expertise
- Create reusable Practice artefacts to improve quality of proposals & accelerate our Service Levels
- Act as leader for the differentiation of Insight's technical capability.
- Develop solution knowledge and share this IP both locally and Asia Pacific wide.
- Focus on assisting the practice team to meet the Services Practice's financial target.

Requirements
Essential"
- Strong Pre-Sales experience in a Consulting environment
- Proven experience of supporting sales pursuits resulting in the acquisition of new business.
- Very strong written communication, including production of high-quality technical artefacts and pre-sales contributions (proposals, RFP/RFQ responses and presentations)
- Comfortable with presenting and communicating technical solutions to C-Level Execs
- Excellent client-facing manner
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
- Strong desire to win new business
- Substantial experience in technical roles within a Services environment.
- Ability to map client's business needs to Insight's technology solution offerings.
- Tertiary Education qualifications preferred.
Technical skills:
- Significant expertise in designing and delivering solutions using multiple Microsoft Business Applications services (e.g. D365, Dataverse & Power Platform)
- Very highly regarded - experience designing and delivering solutions based on D365 Customer Service, including DCCP (Voice), Customer Insights and Sales.
- Very highly regarded experience designing and delivering solutions based on Power Platform, including Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
- Azure Integration Experience with Logic Apps and Azure Functions is well-regarded but not essential.
- Power Automate Desktop experience is well-regarded but not essential.
- Recent Microsoft Certifications and Exams across D365 and Power Platform essential
