Job description
We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect. You will be responsible for creating the structure and strategy that will guide the design and development of our products, with a deep knowledge of Salesforce and Big Query data models. You will tackle our most complex and ambiguous challenges, transforming them into intuitive, scalable, and impactful solutions. This is a senior role with significant influence, requiring a blend of systems thinking, hands-on design excellence, and mentorship. You will own the integration strategy for major products and new initiatives, guiding the entire design process from a foundational level., *
- Define Integration Strategy & Architecture: Own and define the organization's enterprise integration strategy, including the selection of patterns (e.g., API-led, event-driven, batch), middleware, and tools.
- Lead Technical Design and Implementation: Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions for mission-critical systems, such as synchronizing data between multiple Salesforce instances, external vendor APIs, and internal platforms.
- API Management and Governance: Implement, configure, and manage API Gateways to enforce security, rate limiting, and centralized monitoring for all internal and external APIs. Define and enforce API standards and best practices.
- Platform Expertise and Deployment: Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools (e.g., n8n, MuleSoft, or similar), ensuring high availability, performance, and monitoring.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all integration solutions adhere to strict security protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0, encryption, zero-trust principles) and data compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Performance and Optimization: Proactively monitor, tune, and optimize integration processes, data flows, and infrastructure to ensure low latency and high throughput.
- Facilitate & Mentor: Lead technical design reviews and workshops. Mentor junior and mid-level integration and software engineers on integration best practices, solution design, and security.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidently present and defend architectural decisions, trade-offs, and roadmaps to engineering teams, product owners, and senior business leadership.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, *
- Deep Integration Expertise: Expert-level command of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs), including synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven architectures.
- API Mastery: Extensive experience designing, developing, and securing RESTful and SOAP APIs. Proven experience implementing and managing API Gateways (e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
- iPaaS Proficiency: Hands-on, production-level experience with a modern iPaaS platform like n8n, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Zapier (advanced level) for building complex system-to-system workflows, especially integrating CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Data and Systems: Deep knowledge of data transformation (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and schema management within integration contexts. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) principles.
- Security: Proficient in implementing security standards for integrations, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and token management.
- Software Engineering: Strong software engineering fundamentals, comfortable with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for custom logic within integration platforms.
- Strategic thinking, leadership and mentoring, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to influence and persuade.
