Job description
As a member of the Technology and Innovation team within R&D, you will collaborate closely with IT, the Service Connectivity team, and various departments and divisions within the Power Technique Business Area.
- You will play a key role in shaping the future data organization, managing multiple data sources, and defining data projects to meet the needs of Portable Power and Flow.
- You will contribute to the division's data vision and roadmap, with project management being a critical aspect of this role.
- You will be supported by engineers and colleagues across different departments, who will assist you in identifying specific needs and translating available data into ready-to-use tools for product development and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist.
- Educational requirements: You have an Academic degree within Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field.
- Excellent analytical skills for identifying and analyzing raw process and machine data.
- Experience in large-scale data analysis.
- Mathematics, statistics, and programming experience.
- Basic knowledge of Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning.
- Intermediate knowledge of English.
- Basic knowledge in programming (PLC, HMI, JavaScript, CODESYS, and similar) would be a plus.
- Experience with Azure Data Platform, Python, Databricks, Spark, or similar would be a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in coordinating projects.
- Customer-oriented and capable of working in a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Capable of detailed collaboration with internal and external partners.
