Role Overview We are looking for a Cloud / Platform Engineer to join our team in Madrid, focused on setting up, optimizing, and scaling the company's cloud data infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency, enabling scalable data pipelines, analytics, and AI use cases across the organization. Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure for data and analytics workloads. * Ensure portability and scalability across platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks). * Implement cost monitoring and FinOps practices to optimize cloud spend. * Build

and manage CI / CD pipelines for platform automation and infrastructure as code. * Integrate observability, monitoring, and alerting into all platform components. * Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure infrastructure supports open standards. * Support orchestration of workflows (Airflow, DBT, event-driven architectures). * Troubleshoot platform performance issues and optimize reliability and availability. Profile / Requirements Core Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Platform Engineer, preferably in a data-intensive environment. * Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks). * Strong experience with Snowflake and distributed cloud data platforms. * Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of automation tools (Airflow, DBT, Power Automate). * Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices. * Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) - both mandatory. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Desirable Skills * Experience with cost optimization (FinOps) in Azure environments. * Knowledge of open standards (Delta Lake, Iceberg, Parquet). * Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time streaming platforms.Previous experience in commodity trading, energy, or financial services industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
