Job description
The IT Department provides the information systems to support Wavestone's objectives. The underlying processes and tools must be designed to meet the challenges of rapid growth and internationalization of the company.
It is structured around 3 application areas (People, Finance, Business), a CIO Office, an Architecture, Data & Innovation team, an Infrastructure & Technology area team, and finally a Security team.
With an annual budget of €20 million, the IT team comprises 80 professionals working both in France and internationally.
The IT Finance Manager will serve as Product Owner for the finance transformation initiatives, particularly focusing on our 'Zenith' project, which aims to transform financial processes through the implementation of SAP S4/HANA public edition, across 17 countries.
More specifically, their missions will be to:
Lead transformation projects and initiatives
- Team-up with business partners to frame projects and associated business goals
- Engage all necessary stakeholders and partners to achieve those business objectives through flawless project execution (suppliers, IT, business, executive committee members, etc.)
- Optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Secure successful change management for processes and systems adoption
Drive process and system enhancements
- Design robust, international, and scalable finance solutions
- Own the product vision and manage/prioritize product backlog to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Foster adherence to agile principles & best practices (PI Planning, Sprint, etc.)
- Facilitate the integration of new companies into existing processes
Lead international team
- Manage, evaluate, and support the personal and collective performance of team members (~10 people)
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the team
- Show sensitivity to cultural differences in an international environment
Requirements
Demonstrate technical and project management expertise
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects in finance (Accounting, Controlling, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Budget-to-Report, Expense Management, etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA finance (ideally the public cloud version)
- Ability to manage budgets and suppliers
- Experience in agile methodologies and Product Owner role
Ability to lead and evolve in an international context
- Excellent leadership to motivate, guide, and inspire the members of the team
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Sensitivity to cultural differences in an international environment
- Experience in professional business services and merger & acquisition (preferred but not mandatory)
