Job description

As a data engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that ensure reliable ETL processes from a wide range of data sources. You leverage Databricks and Apache Spark to handle large-scale data processing efficiently. Collaboration is key in your role. You work closely with fellow engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver clean and accessible datasets. You also contribute to the development and optimization of the central data platform, which serves as the backbone for data-driven decision-making across the organization. In addition, you implement real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka, enabling immediate access to data for time-sensitive applications. You champion CI/CD practices to streamline ETL-pipelines and ensure smooth infrastructure deployment.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, You bring proven experience as a Data Engineer, having worked in complex data environments where reliability and scalability are essential. Your proficiency with Databricks and Apache Spark enables you to process large volumes of data efficiently and effectively. You have deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-based architecture, allowing you to build and maintain robust, scalable solutions. Your scripting skills in Python and SQL are strong, supporting both data manipulation and pipeline development. With hands-on experience in Kafka, you're well-versed in implementing real-time data streaming solutions. You thrive in collaborative settings, working seamlessly with others and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Driven by ambition, you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver high-quality results.
