Responsibilities - Technical Support
Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you:
- Learn and use groundbreaking technologies.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions for customers and lead customer interactions by working with them to dive deep into issues and identify the root cause.
- Interact with leading engineers around the world.
- Partner with internal cloud service teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
- Leverage extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal teams on improving services.
- Drive projects that improve support-related processes and overall technical support experience.
- Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple cloud services.
- Apart from handling a broad spectrum of technical issues, a Cloud Support Engineer may also coach or mentor new hires, develop and present training, partner with development teams on complex issues, write tools or scripts to support the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Major in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Engineering / or another related technical discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Strong communication skills, with polished interaction to gather information quickly from customers.
- Passion for technology and customer support.
- Strong ability for cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems, determine root cause, and develop solutions.
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, and storage is required. Experience in security, big data, AI, databases, Docker, or coding is preferred.
- Able to work in 24/7 rotating shifts.
