Job description
As a Solution Designer, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our intralogistics automation business across EMEA. You will provide technical expertise and design support to the sales team, developing innovative and cost-effective solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.., * Analyze customer needs thoroughly and create the right intralogistics automation solutions tailored to their specific requirements, considering factors like throughput, space, budget, and integration needs.
- Consult with customers and internal teams to design the optimal intralogistics solution, ensuring feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop winning intralogistics automation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical contacts at customer sites and partner organizations to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments.

- Support the sales team throughout the project sales cycle by providing technical expertise, developing compelling solution concepts, and creating impactful presentations.
- Coordinate technical details effectively with internal teams (engineering, project management, service) and external partners to ensure seamless solution delivery and successful project execution.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including solution layouts, equipment specifications, and system architectures, to guide implementation and support future maintenance.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in intralogistics automation to continuously improve our solutions and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Completed studies in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Logistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Proven experience in solution design, system integration, or technical consulting within the automation or intralogistics industry.

Strong network of contacts in the intralogistics automation market is a plus.

In-depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and develop optimal solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proficiency in 3D layouting with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CET Designer) and simulation tools (sim3D, Plantsim).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.

Willingness to travel within the region.

Fluency in [relevant languages, e.g., English and German] is a plus.
