Job description

Bring structure, clarity, and hands-on support to managing a platform for data collection and modelling, Within the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN), we work with a data management platform for data collection and modelling. Our management team needs additional expertise to better map out processes and data models and to optimize their use within the platform. That's why we're looking for a Data Consultant / Functional Administrator to strengthen the team with both technical knowledge and organizational structure. You will help analyze and model processes and data, support configuration and administration, and guide colleagues in carrying out their roles independently. Additionally, you will work on setting up efficient data flows, take responsibility for parts of the data processing chain, and actively monitor data quality. You'll work closely with administrators, architects, and data modelers to develop smart solutions.

What will you do?

  • Model data structures within the data management platform
  • Analyze, design, and maintain data collection processes
  • Configure and manage models, interface settings, and validation rules
  • Monitor data quality and identify issues or inconsistencies
  • Improve workflows, documentation, and task distribution together with the team
  • Act as a bridge between users, administrators, architects, and development teams, You will work on the greenest and most innovative campus in the Netherlands, in an international and open working environment. Requirements

Are you analytically strong, enjoy bringing order to complex data flows, and a team player who connects with others to achieve shared goals? Do you like working at the intersection of technology, content, and organization? Then we are looking for you., * Demonstrable understanding of data modelling and experience with structuring entities and relationships

  • Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes
  • A keen eye for data quality and knowledge of how to ensure quality within systems and processes
  • Functional insight into data flows and system configuration, with an understanding of the underlying technical structure
  • A natural, coaching work style: you work in a structured way and guide colleagues along
  • You think ahead, act independently, and bring calm and clarity in dynamic situations
  • Familiarity with metadata-driven systems or low-code platforms is a plus
  • Experience in coaching colleagues to develop understanding, skills, and ownership is a plus
  • Availability for at least 2 days a week on location (Wageningen and/or The Hague), with at least 1 of those days flexibly scheduled

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between € 4,741.- and € 7,068.- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 12). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance.
