Job description

As a System Engineer, you will design, configure, and test measurement systems for flow, level, and pipeline leak detection applications. You translate technical specifications into an optimally functioning system design and collaborate closely with colleagues on challenging international projects.

Your responsibilities:

Designing system documentation and functional specifications. Configuring and testing measurement and control systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC). Programming process automation and visualization systems. Supporting commissioning activities and troubleshooting. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Physics, Process Technology, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in process automation within the oil and gas industry;
  • Experience with DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems;
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation, Modbus/OPC protocols, and the ability to read P&IDs and E&I drawings;
  • Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage);
  • You are analytical, proactive, and enjoy working collaboratively on technical challenges.
