Job description
This role combines hands-on development with strategic input. You'll work on complex platform challenges, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define how Salesforce supports our business as we scale. Whether you're already operating at architect level or ready to grow into it, this position offers the space and responsibility to do so.
In this role, you'll work across both development and architectural responsibilities. You'll be involved in designing scalable solutions, improving technical standards, and guiding how Salesforce supports our business as we grow.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize high-performance Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help define integration patterns across systems
- Evaluate and improve existing frameworks and code structures
- Lead platform improvements and support org-wide transformations
- Collaborate closely with the architect and product teams to align technical direction with business needs
- Mentor developers and help raise the technical level of the team
This role offers a mix of hands-on coding and strategic input, ideal for someone who enjoys building while also thinking ahead.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development
- Deep understanding of Apex, Salesforce's data model, and platform architecture
- Proven experience designing scalable solutions and leading technical improvements
- Comfortable mentoring developers and helping raise the technical level of the team
- Proactive, structured, and confident in technical decision-making
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
Nice to have:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or higher
- Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX

- Gross monthly salary between €5,500 and €7,000 (based on 40 hours)
