Role Overview As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, deployment, management, and optimization of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. You will ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment that meets the needs of modern enterprises.
You will manage incident resolution, break-fix activities, and change implementation in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring seamless service delivery for our global clients. Acting as a senior escalation point, you'll provide expert guidance, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
With a blend of technical depth and communication skills, you will bridge the gap between infrastructure and service delivery, ensuring business continuity, enhancing client satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement across complex environments. Design & Optimization: Design, implement, and maintain hybrid and infrastructure solutions across on-premises and Azure environments, leveraging technologies such as Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services, Network Device Enrollment Service, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Exchange. Ensure scalability, performance, and resilience through proactive capacity planning and optimization.

Incident & Change Management: Lead break-fix operations, root cause analyses, and change implementations in line with ITIL processes. Conduct post-incident reviews and apply lessons learned to strengthen system stability and service reliability.

Engagement & Escalation Support: Act as a trusted advisor and senior escalation point for clients, providing expert support on infrastructure and Azure-related issues, service requests, and operational improvements.

Operations, Monitoring & Performance: Maintain proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and incident prevention for critical infrastructure components using tools such as Zabbix and Azure Monitor. Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics with tools like Log Analytics, Wireshark and ProcMon to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with global delivery teams, service managers, and architects to implement operational improvements and knowledge transfer.

Automation & Continuous Improvement: Develop and automate system configurations, deployment pipelines, and administrative processes using tools such as Azure DevOps and Ansible to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency. Drive continuous improvement through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and cloud-native best practices.

Adaptability & Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evolving client requirements, promoting modernization, cost optimization, and the adoption of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Hybrid & Virtualization Expertise: Support and manage Windows Servers, DFS, WSUS, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Citrix. Contribute to integration projects involving hybrid infrastructures, bridging on-premises systems with cloud-based environments.

Requirements

Proven experience in Windows systems administration, infrastructure design, and automation.

Experience in PowerShell scripting and systems automation.

Basic understanding of managing MS Exchange and MS SQL.

Basic understanding of cloud architecture and cloud security principles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.

Experience with scripting languages or programming skills, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform.

A passion for automation: Powershell, Ansible, Infrastructure as a Code and other Zabbix experience.

Certificate and secret management.
-
Experience with CI/CD and working in a DevOps environment.

Azure Associate: Azure Administration (AZ-104).
-
AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure.
