- Support our infrastructure migration efforts, helping to modernize and scale our systems to meet growing customer demand.
- Build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across environments.
- Collaborate with developers and SREs to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
- Champion automation, observability, and infrastructure as code practices.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and assist in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Be part of our standby rotation once you are ready.

In the ad-tech cluster, we are developing and implementing a retail media SaaS solution for all Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe. Retail media involves selling advertisement space on our digital touchpoints or in-store. Examples include:
- Promoting brands like Tony Chocolonely when customers search for chocolate on our website or app.
- Displaying advertisements on big screens inside and outside stores.
- Featuring supplier-branded banners on homepage or category pages.
- Exploring new territories as retail media is a rapidly growing field.
Our ad-tech cluster, part of the Customer Tech Platform, is responsible for a flexible, cost-efficient, high-end retail media suite with extensive functionality and a growing number of brand users. We have a scale-up vibe with 11 teams and counting. A mature agile approach (no frameworks) helps you excel and showcase your skills.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team during an exciting phase of infrastructure migration and customer growth. As we scale our platform to serve more customers, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems that support our next-generation architecture.
You'll work with a modern stack including GitHub, Azure AKS, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Akamai, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our environments.

Requirements
- Around 5 years experience in similar role.
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or equivalent Kubernetes platforms.
- Familiarity with GitOps and continuous deployment tools like ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in using GitHub (actions, workflows, etc.) for CI/CD.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python.
Professional Skills:
- You raise your voice when necessary and bring your opinion to the table. Out of the box thinking and a pro-active attitude is a must for this role.
- Solid understanding of modern DevOps principles and SRE practices.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
- Familiarity with Cilium.
- Certification in Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., secrets management, zero trust).
