- Bridge R&D and Operations to mature technical modules and integration architectures in a modular fashion using Change Control Board (CCB) validation.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering and use design software to review photonic designs for Process Control (PCM), Design for Testability (DfT) and Customer products.
- Drive implementation of Building Block (BB) data into the Process Design Kit (PDK) and expand process knowledge across teams.
- Monitor and analyze development and production batches using MES; apply statistical tools (DOE, 8D, PCM, defectivity trends) to address issue or improve yield.
- Share expertise across the organization and take full ownership of technology developments and batch performance
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Our ideal candidate, our "secret unicorn", is a senior professional with a strong background in III/V semiconductors and solid knowledge of Integrated Photonics. (Yes, we know… not the easiest combination to find!)
Equally important to your technical expertise is your personality: steady, reliable. Much like the high-performance engine of a car: unseen from the outside, yet the true driving force behind every movement
We offer a warm and welcoming environment where you can be yourself, gain unique insight into our manufacturing integration processes, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and truly help shape the future of integrated photonics.
Curious to learn more? Or ready to challenge the status quo?, * PhD or MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Industry experience in III-V photonic integration (InP), including process and building block expertise.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to balance detail with system-level oversight.
- Solid knowledge of photonic process integration, yield optimization; design experience or III-V device know-how is a plus.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, including Excel, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.
- Flexible, proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic, fast-changing environments.
