Platform Engineer

Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary DevOps squad building and maintaining ING's global reference data management platform - the trusted source that powers everything from payments to compliance systems worldwide. You'll work on modern DevOps tooling, automation, and infrastructure while collaborating with international teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing systems., As a Platform Engineer, you'll take end-to-end responsibility for the Global Reference Data Management (GRDM) solution, a mission-critical platform ensuring consistent reference data across the organization. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle: refining user stories, building automations, and monitoring live systems. The role blends engineering, operations, and continuous improvement, ensuring the platform's stability, performance, and security.

You'll design reusable tooling, enhance observability, manage deployments, and help define best practices for automation and security. The environment is collaborative, hybrid, and highly technical, ideal for engineers who love solving complex problems and driving efficiency.

Do you have experience in Shell Scripting?, You are a hands-on engineer with a DevOps mindset and a passion for improving systems. You bring:

• Experience in DevOps or Agile corporate environments
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Java
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Backlogs)
• Skills in Oracle, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for observability
• Understanding of network and security configuration (SSL/TLS)
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, team-driven approach

Nice to have:

• Experience in IT Risk, Vulnerability Management, or SecOps
• Familiarity with Universal Automation Center (UAC) and Test Engineering
