Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Tesla is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable web and mobile experiences that enhance the ownership journey for Tesla customers. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams to craft innovative, user-friendly applications that set new standards for digital experiences. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications with a strong focus on frontend performance and user experience.
• Build reusable components and scalable architectures using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Optimize code for performance, accessibility, and maintainability across different platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to create seamless digital experiences.
• Stay up to date with the latest frontend and mobile development trends to ensure Tesla's digital products remain cutting-edge.

Do you have experience in UX?, * 4+ years of experience in frontend development, building scalable web and/or mobile applications.

• Strong expertise in React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux).
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (e.g., Next.js, Remix, Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or Webpack).
• Familiarity with Node.js and Express for backend API integration.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of PHP, Elastic Search, Objective-C, Swift, or Java/Kotlin is a plus.
• Experience creating, maintaining and shipping top-ranking mobile apps is preferred.
• Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Strong Problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
