Then you are the candidate we are looking for!, As System Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating hardware and software components across all digital initiatives within the customer's portfolio. This role is central to defining system-level technical requirements, aligning multidisciplinary development efforts, and ensuring seamless interaction between subsystems. Given the strong emphasis on hands-on prototyping, validation, and integration with the customer's in-house development teams, the position requires close internal collaboration. Working directly with internal groups (such as the ePTO and eValve product teams), the System Engineer will play a pivotal role in bringing components together into fully functioning system solutions. You act as a key technical lead, ensuring that components are specified, tested, and validated within our development environment, while maintaining accurate documentation and driving cross-team alignment., * System Design & Architecture: Define and own the system-level behavioral design, ensuring cohesion between subsystems.
- Technical Requirements Development: Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align system requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead technical discussions with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software components, including IoT products.
- Communication Protocols: Define and align communication protocols across (sub-)systems.
- Validation Coordination: Work closely with validation teams to ensure end-toend testing matches system requirements, including supporting test infrastructure and testability of features and functions.
- Prototyping & Mock-ups: Arrange and oversee prototypes/mock-ups at both the component and system levels.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with relevant technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practices into system engineering processes.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Strong knowledge of mechatronics or IoT systems.
- Extensive technical knowledge of communication protocols (CAN Bus, MODBUS).
- Software / electronic / mechatronic development background.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with system modelling tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Prior experience in automotive or industrial machinery is a plus.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive engineering, system engineering, Electronics, mechatronics, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in system engineering or a related field.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project teams, working with embedded systems, automotive, or industrial applications.
- Hands-on experience in system architecture, hardware-software integration, and technical documentation, preferably for IoT systems
- Knowledge of system validation processes and tools.
