Job description
As Head of Data Analytics & Insights, you will lead our team of data analysts and be responsible for the continued professionalization of our analytics and insights processes. You ensure that our analyses, dashboards, and reports are fully aligned with client needs and business priorities. You will foster a data-driven culture centered on quality, efficiency, and impact. You will work closely with our Engineering, Webscraping, and Customer Success teams to ensure that data flows seamlessly through the organization-from raw input to strategic insight. You also play a key role in translating market data into actionable signals for our clients and management team.
What you will do
- Lead and coach a team of data analysts
- Develop the structure, and priorities for the Analytics & Insights function
- Design and implement predictive models and statistical analyses on market data
- Safeguard data quality, process optimization, and analytical consistency
- Translate complex datasets into clear, investor-oriented insights
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve data products, pipelines, and modeling tools
- Support Customer Success with custom reporting and quantitative client insights
- Build internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and analytical standards
- Report to the management team on progress, team development, and product impact
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- A pragmatic mindset and the drive to get things done
- Strong background in predictive modeling, time series analysis, and applied statistics
- Hands-on modeling skills, combined with the ability to delegate effectively
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI (or equivalent)
- Familiarity with model validation, feature engineering, and forecast evaluation
- Skilled at structuring complex analyses and communicating insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment firms, or alternative data is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, coaching leadership style, and attention to detail
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
