As Senior Data Engineer you will join our Data practice and take on a prominent and very visible role within this tech community at Projective Group. Internally, you are a driving force in our advancements in data and digital and on top of that, you work with our customers to help them reach their ambitions in these areas.
Next to this technical side of the role, we expect you to be a leading example for our junior data engineers, both in your daily way of working and more directly as mentor.
As we don't believe in big hierarchical structures, you don't necessarily "report" to the Data Practice Lead, but he is there for you if you need help and will often ask you how you are doing., * A salary with a variable component and a company bonus.

Your minimum skill set
- Fluent in English, Dutch; located in the Netherlands.
- At least five years of experience as a data engineer or in similar role.
- At least three years of experience as a team leader, people manager or mentor.
- Able to create and interpret tech designs and architectures.
- You have lots of programming skills, you know which languages we are looking for.
- You know your way around Azure and Snowflake.
- Experienced in bringing software into production (end-to-end lead engineer or project manager)
- Experienced with Databricks, DBT, Docker, Kubernetes (and/or comparable tech).
- Notion of DevOps (e.g. Git, CI/CD) and able to work in technical and business settings (client facing).
- Experience in BFSI - Banking, Financial Services and/or Insurance.
Bonus
Any of the below will definitely impress us even more;
- University or HBO schooling in a tech domain.
- You've worked with the other major cloud platforms (Cloudera, AWS and GCP) as well.
- Experience in bringing AI applications in production (end-to-end lead engineer or project manager).
- Comfortable presenting to groups and/or teaching.
- An active network among your peers in the Dutch FS&I sector.
