Job description
Within our R&D department we work with state-of-art RFID technology, advanced processing platforms and signal processing. By developing our own hardware, we are able to design our products in such a way that they perfectly solve the current problems of our customers, but are also flexible enough to add relevant functionalities for the years to come. For example, the core of our platform consists of a System-on-Chip with both an FPGA and a CPU. For the radio we use a third-party reader IC and use this to make our own implementation to arrive at our solution. During the past years we have developed a new processing platform and currently we are in the process of creating a new product line with this platform at the core. In the role of (RFID) Hardware Engineer you are actively involved in the full product development cycle, from the first thoughts to full scale production. You play a key role in making the right component choices and in creating the schematic and layout. Because of worldwide application of our products, certification and the associated EMC requirements play an important role in the design work. Your responsibilities
