Job description
The non-profit organisation, based in Amsterdam, provides all kinds of services within education. There is a relaxed but driven atmosphere. Furthermore, the organisation can be described as progressive; for example, an innovation drive is currently underway within the IT department.
The team focuses on a specific part of the organisation. This involves specialist machines that are used for research. They use various Linux distributions, such as CentOS and Redhat. In addition, a lot of scripting is automated and various clusters and storage systems are used. The specifications come from the researchers and it is up to you to set up a suitable system for this!
Functieomschrijving
- You are responsible for various requests and customised solutions;
- You automate your management activities as much as possible;
- You draw up authorisation and security procedures;
- You investigate and resolve incidents;
- Monitor the stability of the server landscape.
Requirements
- Hbo working and thinking level;
- At least 2 years' working experience as a DevOps engineer;
- Knowledge of Ansible, Bash or Python;
- Knowledge of clustering (SLURM) and storage (Ceph);
- You are eager to learn and have strong communication skills;
- You have a passion for technology and love to pioneer.
