Job description
As a System Engineer, you will support the expansion and improvement of satellite sub-system capabilities by assisting in the development, testing and deployment of our satellite technology.

- You will develop work breakdowns, prepare effort estimates, outline development schedules, and monitor progress against key milestones
- You will establish system architectures, define interfaces, and set performance targets for satellite component development
- You will translate customer needs into comprehensive engineering requirements covering design, verification, integration, and qualification of components and subsystems
- You will coordinate and oversee the work of a multi-disciplinary technical team, providing technical guidance
- You will participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and system-level testing campaigns.
- You will support planning and execution of integration, verification, and qualification activities.
- You will conduct trade-off analyses, system simulations, and technical assessments to support design decisions
- You will manage requirements and ensure traceability across the development lifecycle
- You will generate and maintain controlled documentation, such as NCRs, test plans, and interface control documents

Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- Experience in space systems or complex hardware development projects
- Proven track record of troubleshooting technical issues and strong understanding of systems engineering principles and the full product lifecycle
- Broad technical knowledge across multiple engineering areas, including electronics, software, mechanical design, AOCS, and optics
- Experience with requirements management
- Knowledge of environmental testing, qualification, and integration procedures for space hardware
- Strong technical writing, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated risk management capability and commercial awareness
- Strong timeline awareness and forward planning skills
- Ability to drive effective decision-making in a demanding, dynamic environment
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft software
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written

- Experience within the space sector
