Lead AWS Developer

• Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and implementing new software applications or significant enhancements to existing ones.

• Oversee the entire software development life cycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives, and translate them into technical requirements.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Leverage your AWS expertise to design, deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Demonstrate leadership by driving best practices and enhancing development processes.

IBM is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Developer to join our team, with a focus on serving the public sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in full-stack development, with a strong preference for those well-versed in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Preferred technical and professional experience, * Proven experience as a Lead Developer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in software development.

• In-depth knowledge of full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.

• Extensive experience working in the public sector, understanding its unique challenges and requirements.

• Proficiency with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and more. Experience with serverless architectures is a plus.

• Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and coach team members effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. An advanced degree would be advantageous.

Desirable Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional level.

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Professional level.

• Any relevant IBM certifications would be beneficial.
