Job description

In this role, you'll help streamline our reporting processes to support colleagues across support offices and stores who rely on management information reports to make key decisions. You'll support the transition of these reports to our new platforms, Azure Databricks and Power BI, by moving data flows, building new models, and creating insightful dashboards. You'll also maintain legacy Excel reporting while guiding its evolution into automated, scalable solutions. Whether its supporting dashboard builds, optimising data flows, or monitoring reports during critical times, including weekend support on a rota, you'll help ensure our reporting is accurate, timely, and valuable.

You'll shape reliable, user-friendly reports, transforming raw data into clear insights and advising on visualisation choices that make complex information easy to understand. You'll mentor colleagues, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration will be key, as you work with teams across Finance, CI, Technology & Data, and leadership in Audiology, Domiciliary, and Optics to deliver impactful data solutions and build strong, trusted relationships. You'll also work closely with the Retail Support Team and other business stakeholders to ensure reports and analytics are delivered and embedded successfully.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, We're looking for someone with solid knowledge of data analytics and hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem and/or Databricks. You'll be confident using SQL to manipulate, cleanse, and build complex datasets, and experienced with Power BI, particularly Power Query and DAX. Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, are essential. You'll deliver analytics solutions that create business value, solve complex data challenges, and help others grow their skills across the team. Your commercial awareness and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions will be key for this role.

Benefits & conditions

Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus and Benefits

We offer two bonuses (personal performance paid quarterly and company performance paid annually) with private healthcare and dental cover and a generous pension scheme.
