Java Fullstack Software Developer

The IBM AI Applications business unit is seeking talented and motivated SRE/DevOps professionals to work on the Maximo family of products. In this role you will closely collaborate with the broader SRE team to design and implement the cloud deployment of Maximo set of products on AWS. Support production customers in operational task such as upgrades, maintenance and infrastructure issues, where planned production maintenance is done on planned weekends. Work on a daily basis with Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers and SRE Manager. Proactively seek for improvements opportunities and innovation that matters by learning new technologies and methods that can positively impact the products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, unit-testing, and perform FVT for new functions while rigorously adhering to the team's development processes.
• You will be responsible for working in close collaboration with development and QA team to ensure that defects found in are fixed in a timely manner. The employee will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that any shipped code is delivered on schedule and with quality.
• Another duty will be to analyze and fix defects in existing Db2 for z/OS tools products.
• Be part of open, transparent agile teams who always thrive for continuous learning and contribute towards continuous improvement.

• 4 to 6 years expericne required
• Software Development, fluent in programming language like JAVA
• Database Knowledge
• Basic understanding of Client/Server architecture
• Knowledge of Development tools - Git/GitHub, etc.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
• Good communication skills and fluent in English.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• programming language like JAVA, REACT, Redux, typescript, Javascript, Database Knowledge, Experience in SQL, Understanding of Client/Server architecture, REST API, Development Tools - Git/Github, etc.
