Job description

  1. Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud implementation projects from initiation to closure.
  2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
  3. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against established metrics.
  4. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including cloud architects, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  7. Monitor project performance, analyze project data, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and tools.
  9. Ensure adherence to project management best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex cloud implementation projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Solid project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
