Job description
The Mobile Tech Lead will take full ownership of the mobile product, working alongside backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience for B2B commerce customers. This individual will lead native mobile development efforts, shape architecture decisions, and play a key role in product ideation and delivery., * Lead the development and technical strategy of mobile features for commerce merchants
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, and design teams in a cross-functional environment
- Take ownership of native mobile app development using React Native, Expo, and NativeWind
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, performant, and scalable code
- Contribute to product thinking, retrospectives, and strategic technical decisions
- Stay current with native mobile trends and drive adoption of modern best practices
- Ensure quality through testing, monitoring, and maintainability practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on mobile
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native
- Proven experience building and scaling native apps from early-stage to wide adoption
- Experience collaborating in product-led environments with a focus on business impact
- Excellent prioritization and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable making architecture decisions and balancing speed vs scalability
- Interest in or experience with fintech, financial services, or B2B platforms is a plus
- A collaborative, generous approach to knowledge-sharing and team support
