Job description

  • The business development manager will be responsible for Western part of India. Under the direct supervision of national leader. This position must have Customer focus, work closely with customers, understand their Data Centre/ digitization needs and challenges. He/she is expected to be a DCIM thought leader, create customer success story, and establish reference customer. She/He is expected to create satisfied customers by providing EcoStruxure IT for Data Centre Software Solution to convert their Data Centre challenges into Intelligent Managed Data Centre., * Assessment and qualification of technical feasibility of Schneider Electric's solution to meet customers' requirements
  • Enhances customer relationships by demonstrating a good understanding of customer value and customer service attitude
  • Detailing system design by
  • Problem identification and system architecture definition
  • Providing technical support on product queries from new customers / partners
  • Articulating solutions capabilities and interoperability with customer's existing network infrastructure
  • Participate in managing and developing customer and partner relationship for long term success
  • Tailoring outgoing RFP proposals and formulates responses to RFP
  • Ensures quality of solution design and delivery to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Technical presentations, product demo, delivering Proof of Concepts, solutions Design, proposal/RFP response, in collaboration with Regional Applications Centres specifically relating to DC Software portfolio of offers
  • Aids on sales activities requiring advanced technical product knowledge
  • Understanding and feasibility assessment of customer's integration/customization requirements
  • Ensure smooth transition of information from the Sales stage to the Software Services consultant to ensure that customer's requirements are being implemented.
  • Key account engagements: this will involve engaging directly with the BDM and leading the SE on specific high profile and/or value software engagements with selected customers.
  • Creation of a DC Software Community of Practice in assigned region
  • Technical Skills
  • Clearly articulates todays Data Center Management challenges and helps customer understand how to address them
  • Identifies market trends and new application areas for Schneider Electric's solution by interacting with customers
  • Provides end to end solution and design detail
  • Survey market landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods
  • Work in close collaboration with the DCIM product development team to build and contribute towards the continuous evolution of the product
  • Stay up to date on the latest hardware and software advancements in DCIM

  • Delivering technical presentation to customers
  • Ability to communicate complex technical matters in an easy to understand way
  • Expands application knowledge of sales team through knowledge sharing
  • Training and developing the Sales team (including solution engineers) on the pre-sale's engagement
  • DCIM Solutions is defined as: Data Center Operations, Data Center Expert, Netbotz, Building Operations, Power Monitoring Expert. Software Services.

Requirements

Engineering Degree is mandatory. MBA is added advantage.

Certification

CCNA / CCDP and / or MCSA / E will be a bonus

Job Related Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in technical sales support, sales, business development.
  • Enterprise Software, Solution Selling and Consulting Skills, Complex Multi-National Systems deployment, Software Services, Multinational and Regional experience
  • Insight knowledge of the data centre industry
  • In-depth understanding of data centre infrastructure
  • High work rate in terms of contact with customers, meetings, and presentations
  • Excellent Presentation and communication Skills.
  • Preference for candidates with knowledge and experience on Data Center UPS, Cooling, Power Distribution, Energy Management, IT industry and background in Technical Software solutions
  • Understanding of digitization requirement of the markets.

Technical Experience

  • In depth knowledge of the cooling and energy challenges in Data Centres
  • Experience with Web Services (including SOAP, XML, XML Schema, Restful, open APIs)
  • Good understanding of IT network architecture - LAN/WAN internetworking (Firewall, TCP/IP, SNMP etc)
  • Good understanding of the virtualisation solutions (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper V)
  • Good knowledge of data centre device communication protocols (BACNET, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, IPMI, WMI, PerfMon).
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Management solutions: Emerson Trellis, Avocent Data Center Planner, DSView, Aperture, IBM Tivoli, HP Open view, BMC Patrol/Remedy, CA DCIM, MS SCOM, Nlyte, iTracs, Raritan DCIM, Panduit DCIM, BMS, Power Monitoring

Language
