R&D Software Test Lead

You will be working as R&D Software Test Lead and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Project Manager and will be responsible for providing technical support to regional teams & local units and ensuring availability of support and training material for relevant resources in R&D, support, engineering, marketing and sales as required., * Identifying, evaluating, and executing R&D plans for digital portfolio within PI digital business line for global process industries customers

• Working directly on development tasks, related to test automation and execution, to make sure that the deliverables are completely defect free and of high quality
• Responsible for overall quality of deliverables from the scrum team
• Planning product activities with local and remote teams
• Visibility to customer requirements, market and competition information
• Initiating and sustaining sharing of best practices and standardized technical solutions within PA-PI as well as with other Business Lines in ABB

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing of industrial solutions, in digital products
• Manual testing process test plan, test case creation and validation
• Different strategies of testing like regression, performance etc
• Tools for performance, NFR testing and understanding of web application
• Testing in different environment like staging, production, containers etc
