Technical Specialist - Cybersecurity

You will be working as Technical Specialist - Cybersecurity and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Technical Authority and you will be primarily responsible for executing assignments of low complexity, as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. Supporting in development of technical expertise solutions and services.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and implementing project specific system, network and security architectures and delivering sustainable services to maintain the achieved cyber security levels
• Ensuring our project, service deliveries meet the defined cyber security levels
• Introducing new cyber security-related policies, standards and practices
• Contributing to identifying, managing, reducing cyber security risks, anticipating, influencing current, future technologies and trends
• Representing ABB as a cyber security expert in customer discussions
• Creating, maintaining and sharing a comprehensive understanding of global cyber security risk, market requirements, including regulations and standards

• B E or B tech in Engineering
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in the installation, integration and in the area of networking or cybersecurity
• Experience on software product implementation methods and applications for IT based security solutions. Understanding of plant equipment, plant processes, control systems and ability to mentor other team members
• Working knowledge on managed switches, Firewalls, Network Analysis Tools (Silent Defense), Nozomi (design and deployment) and SIEM (QRadar / Splunk / LogRhythm) will be an added advantage
