Senior Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Technology Practice. You'll lead the design and delivery of cloud-centric, enterprise-scale solutions that align with long-term business strategy and accelerate digital transformation across industries.

You will play a key role in shaping technical architectures that balance innovation, scalability, performance, and security-while also aligning closely with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Strategy

• Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical architectures.
• Align solution designs with enterprise business goals, value streams, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
• Choose appropriate architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, serverless) to meet the needs of each solution.

Cloud & Integration Architecture

• Design and integrate cloud-native and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define APIs, data flows, and middleware integrations to ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
• Optimise cloud performance, security, cost, and resilience.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with stakeholders including developers, security, DevOps, product managers, and business leads to guide solution delivery.
• Ensure solutions follow architecture principles and are implemented with best practices.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Implement architectural governance, ensuring adherence to security standards and compliance regulations.
• Apply identity management, encryption, and access controls to safeguard systems and data.

Communication & Leadership

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Present architecture decisions clearly to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, promoting best practices and technical excellence.

• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong background in enterprise systems integration, data architecture, and application design.
• Proven ability to define and deliver large-scale, high-performance, and secure technical architectures.
• Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, modelling (e.g., ArchiMate, C4), and roadmapping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of balancing strategic and technical priorities with business value in mind.

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with industry-specific domains (e.g., aviation, finance, public sector).
• Experience driving data-led transformations including analytics, AI/ML adoption, and data migration.
• Practical experience working in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments and guiding legacy modernisation initiatives.
