Job description
Key activities include:
- Gathering Framework intelligence to spot new public sector opportunities
- Creating detailed Framework profiles that map out where clients fit best
- Conducting market intelligence to help GovData understand how to best position ourselves and our clients for ongoing success
- Gathering and displaying commercial intelligence
- Perform sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Developing commercial reports and dashboards
- Conducting competitive intelligence to help GovData understand where our competitors are succeeding in the market - and how we can exceed them
- Conducting research to gather supportive materials for Bid submissions such as relevant government guidelines and industry standards
- Initially, assisting in breaking down and analysing Invitations to Tender & Bid Packs to identify all mandatory requirements
- Initially, reviewing narrative content and engaging with the editing process to ensure full compliance with the requirements of the Framework
- Initially, creating high-quality submission content covering all mandatory standards, requirements, and word count limitations

Applicants must have excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary, combined with the ability to understand technical concepts and tender questions, then provide clear, concise responses whilst working to tight deadlines and challenging KPI's. Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate capability across all areas, with the resilience, flexibility and determination to truly make a difference., * Degree-level educated in English, Science, Computer Science, Business/Management/PGCE or other relevant discipline
- APMP qualifications are an advantage
- OSINT/business/market/competitive intelligence qualifications are an extreme advantage
- Previous experience with Public Sector Contracts is an advantage
- Previous experience working in market, business or competitive intelligence are an extreme advantage
- Demonstrable knowledge or previous experience working with OSINT techniques and principles are an extreme advantage
- Familiarity with OSINT tools are an extreme advantage
- Competent with the use of computers
- Team and action oriented; proactive in prioritising own workload
- Excellent communicator, highly organised, with an ability to use your initiative and work to strict deadlines
- Sound commercial understanding and knowledge of business principles, with an ability to think outside the box
