IT Support Engineer

Robert Half have partnered on an exclusive basis with a growing SME in the Cyber Risk space to support their continued growth. I am seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join my clients' dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-line technical support to end-users in-person, by email, and over Zoom.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.Monitor and maintain IT systems, including backups, antivirus, and security updates.Document issues, solutions, and processes in our IT knowledge base.Escalate complex problems to senior IT

staff.Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device setup and account provisioning.Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.Experience with Okta, Microsoft 365, Antivirus, and remote support tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.Relevant certifications (Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.Salary/Logistics£40,000-£45,000 and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and supportive work environment.3 days per week on site, 2 days remote.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
