Design Engineer

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery- Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it? You'll take responsibility for less complex projects, or complex projects under the supervision of Lead Design Engineers. They will produce and check technical documents within their area of expertise and produce construction packs ready for handover to site teams. You must liaise regularly with their project team ensuring that programme tasks and milestones are completed in accordance with expectations. Liaise with external agencies ensuring the investigation/design and construction phase runs smoothly, also with internal departments / client to ensure schemes are designed using the most cost effective method available. Produce accurate statutory notices for work to be carried out on private land in conjunction with the client's requirements for dealing with private land.

• Experience of using MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
• Experience of using AutoCAD 2D / GIS Software
• Knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015
• Awareness of Process Safety
• Understanding of network modelling software and application per client
