Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Networking

• Design, build, and maintain the network infrastructure for Google cloud-based services.
• Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud networking technologies and trends.
• Work with leads and managers to help drive strategy, new initiatives and define roadmap.
• Evolve and scale Cloud Telemetry systems to meet future needs of Google Cloud Platform.

• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience in C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in working with distributed systems and related network infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud technologies and Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
