AWS DevOps Engineer

• Create and maintain templates for DevOps teams that enable the management of (Cloud) infrastructure.
• Apply ACP / PSS protection measures to the templates (e.g. for Public Cloud)
• Provide documentation for self-enablement of template usage (Readme)
• Provide documentation for Siemens internal process (e.g. Protection Concept)
• Monitor (Telemetry) the template usage to measure the adoption and to provide improvements.

• Experience with GitOps (e.g. fluxCD, crossplane)
• Experience with IaC (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience with network architectures (OSI Model, Firewall, debugging utils like traceroute)
• Knowledge about containerization, microservices and serverless deployment models
• Hand-On experiences in resolving overload situations (network, storage, data recovery)
• Languages: Terraform, Bash, python (optional)
• Tools: AWS [VPC, EKS, EC2/ LoadBalancers, RDS, IAM], Azure, GitLab, K8s[ingresses, rbac, workloads], kubevela, Docker, GitLab CI
