Securities Finance Java Developer

As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically oriented individual to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building, maintaining and supporting our Global Securities Finance platform - supporting front and middle office users in multiple time zones., * This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in Java and related frameworks.

• Develop, test, and maintain multiple Securities Finance foundation and functional products.
• Working closely with technology leads to implement functional components for the project that contribute to the Sec Fin product suite.
• Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols.
• Maintain and enhance support documentation.

• 10+ years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework and messaging framework
• Experience building distributed and enterprise application.
• Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, Snowflake is a plus.
• Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus.
• AWS working experience is a desired.
• Understanding of Securities Finance/Prime Brokerage, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area.
