Step into a career-defining leadership role at MFT, as we seek a highly credible medical leader to join our forward-thinking Clinical Group Senior Leadership Team. With a strong track record in governance, safety, integrating services and clinical effectiveness, you will provide senior clinical leadership for our Clinical Scientific Services Clinical Group (CSS). Critically, you will promote research, innovation and education that will make our services fit for the future, and in doing so, put your career on an exciting trajectory.
With a commitment to system and organisational excellence, you will ensure that new models of community care are clinically safe, support best practice and are sustainable for changing patterns of delivery, fostering high levels of clinical involvement, joint working focused on delivering the best outcomes for patients and people.

- Bringing your wealth of experience as a clinical leader, you'll make our hospitals synonymous with quality, safety, and clinical effectiveness. This includes providing advice on developing our services and making sure other leaders stay focused on innovation, patient safety and better outcomes.
- Applying excellent management and interpersonal skills, you'll work with the Director of Workforce & OD on medical workforce planning, recruitment, productivity, and employee relations, promoting diversity, equality and creating a sense of belonging.
- You'll be a natural role model for other medical leaders across MFT, securing confidence and credibility with our teams as well as external stakeholders and our local communities.
- You'll guide us through challenging decisions, sometimes in the face of opposition, ensuring we act in the best interests of patient safety and patient experience.
- Using your exceptional communication and collaboration skills, you'll help reconfigure our services to put patients at the centre of everything we do, working closely with other MFT medical leaders in the process.
- Lastly, it goes without saying, you'll demonstrate MFT values and behaviours and strive to continuously set and maintain the highest standards for both you and your team and motivate and inspires others to achieve these.
