Job description
- Serve as the key point of contact for console development across the project.
- Develop and maintain platform-specific features and integrations.
- Profile and optimise CPU, GPU, and memory usage for console performance.
- Collaborate with engine and cross-platform developers to enhance console support.
- Mentor fellow programmers in best practices for console development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues specific to console builds.
- Manage builds and support game releases through testing and bug fixing.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ and experience with console development.
- Proven experience shipping console titles and navigating certification processes.
- Solid understanding of game engine internals and cross-platform systems.
- Skilled in performance and memory profiling for console hardware.
- A keen interest in pushing the technical limits of console platforms.
- Detail-oriented and methodical approach to development and debugging.
