Job description

As a Senior QA Tester, you will manage the testing of Digital and Technology Services, including all infrastructures and components, during the delivery of Major Change Programmes and Continuous Improvement pipelines. Working within programmes structured to deliver both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensure that user functional and non-functional requirements are delivered completely and appropriately. You will prioritise and report defect, to allow Programme Management to determine the progress of development and to manage the risks associated with delivery. This role will engage with users, supporting their needs and ensuring that a high-quality customer-focused service is delivered. Part time working hours are available for this role. We can accept part time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week., + Deputise for the QA Test Manager. Lead and manage all of the Testing and Testing capabilities within a Major Change Programme or a Change Project or during a Continuous Improvement project

  • Prioritise, plan, allocate resource and account for all Testing activity with the programme or project
  • Support the definition, management and execution of Test Strategies, Test Approaches and Test Methodologies to be used by HSE, encompassing Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance, User, Performance, Security and Compatibility
  • Manage the delivery of all testing, including writing and reviewing test plans, test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality delivery requirements
  • Provide Management Information (MI and reporting) of the quality of the Digital and Technology Services within a Major Change Programme or a Change Project or during a Continuous Improvement project.
  • Work with and ensure the quality of Suppliers developing applications and systems for the HSE, We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:

Requirements

  • Experience of leading a test team on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and web apps
  • Experience of writing, maintaining and planning the execution of test suites
  • Experience of line managing system testers
  • Ability to communicate and present test progress to diverse audiences.
  • Experience of creating, updating and storing of test documentation
  • Experience of Azure DevOps, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform This role will require occasional travel to Bootle.
