Job description
As a Junior Systems Administrator you will be a key member of a small team responsible for the firms IT infrastructure with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, continual learning and self-development opportunities.
Typically you'll be working on maintaining both onsite and offsite Windows servers, monitoring in-house software applications, administering Active Directory and Group policy and managing storage systems including NAS and iSCSI.
Requirements
Are you a bright, ambitious Systems Administrator with a strong knowledge of Windows and Active Directory?, * You're degree educated
- You have commercial experience in a similar SysAdmin role, ideally within a finance environment
- You have a strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Active Directory
- You have a good working knowledge of SQL and can script (with PowerShell ideally)
- You're familiar with Networking, Hyper-V virtualisation and have experience of building custom machines
- You're collaborative, with great communication skills
- You're naturally curious, use technology in your own time and are keen to learn
