Job description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with deep experience in Vue 3, TypeScript, JavaScript and strong ASP.NET- integrated frontends to join our digital experience monitoring (DEM) Platform team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within our global engineering organisation, you will build user-centric web applications that surface observability data to our customers. You will partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate product requirements, user journeys and design system components into performant, accessible and maintainable interfaces. This is a hands-on role suited to a developer who has experience collaborating across multiple teams and integrating frontends with our ASP.NET based services., * Design, develop, test, document and deploy front-end applications and reusable components using Vue 3, TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES2020+).

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to understand user needs, refine requirements, and deliver intuitive, accessible user experiences aligned with our design system.
  • Integrate front-end applications with ASP.NET APIs and services, ensuring reliable data exchanges and error handling.
  • Promote quality engineering practices including automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), code reviews, performance and security best practices for the web.
  • Implement and optimise front-end performance, and monitor user experience via RUM/telemetry.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional front-end development experience delivering complex, data-rich web applications in production.
  • Expert proficiency with Vue 3, TypeScript and modern JavaScript, including state management (e.g., Pinia/Vuex) and Vue Router.
  • Experience integrating front-ends with ASP.NET backends and RESTful APIs; understanding of authentication and authorisation flows, error handling and resilient client-server patterns.
  • Grasp of web fundamentals: semantic HTML, modern CSS (SCSS/Tailwind or equivalent), accessibility, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Practical experience with front-end build tooling and CI/CD (Vite/Webpack, npm/yarn, linting, formatting, commit standards) and Git workflows.
  • Experience with performance optimisation techniques (bundle analysis, code splitting, caching strategies).
  • Solid testing discipline with tools such as Jest, Vue Test Utils and Selenium.
  • Comfortable collaborating with Product and UX to translate designs into production-grade UI.
  • Initiative-driven, hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and product impact.

You will benefit from having the following experience:

  • Familiarity with C#/.NET and ASP.NET MVC/Web API. Ability to contribute to backend endpoints, contract definitions and release processes when needed.
  • Experience with AI-based systems and incorporating it in your daily development work.
  • Experience with design systems (Figma) and component libraries (Storybook/PrimeVue).
  • Experience with data visualisation libraries (e.g., Highcharts, Telerik) and real-time interfaces (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).
  • Experience with security best practices for the web (XSS, CSRF, dependency security) and privacy-by-design.
  • Background in high-scale SaaS, financial services or observability/monitoring domains.
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams and collaborating across multiple time zones.
