Job description

On a daily basis, as a Test Analyst you will be required to perform software tests, following best practice to ensure quality and correct documentation of test procedures in all areas of software testing.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of documented test cases. Executing tests, preparing test reports, and working closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to report defects when required., * Close interaction with the Development and BA teams

  • Working on all aspects of the end to end Testing process
  • Understanding Requirements and User Stories
  • Prepare and Execute test scripts
  • Log defects
  • Smoke Testing
  • Re-testing and Regression Testing
  • Testing Estimation
  • Contribute to Test Plans and Exit Reports
  • Comfortable with working on different Phases of testing for multiple projects
  • Contribute to Test Strategies and Test Plans
  • Provide Test level plans and Test Sign-off
  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each Project / Cycle
  • Define and agree test plans with Test Lead and the Scrum teams
  • Provide accurate test estimates for Requirements
  • Monitor and report test progress to all interested parties and escalate issues as required
  • Ensure the acceptance criteria for each test phase are achieved
  • Responsible for Project/Release quality prior to UAT and Go-live.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, * Experience working in Agile/ Scrum models

  • Ability to work with Test and Defect Management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Test Rail
  • Strong testing experience in functional testing, including API, Cross Browser and Mobile Testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Great team working ethos
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for perfection.

Beneficial skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Test Analyst, both functional and non-functional
  • Beneficial - Previous work experience within the logistics industry
  • A minimum of 6 months experience using automation tools to script automation test cases such as; Selenium, Postman SOAP UI
  • ISEB Foundation in Software Testing is desirable but not essential
  • Educated to Degree Level/High A Levels
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL Management Studio beneficial.
